Geo 2019, pit with automatic slopes
News and changes in version 2019.1.14 of Geo.
Generally
We release this version of Geo as a test version and it mainly contains a new function for volume calculation. We call it “volume calculation with automatic slope”. We also inserted a lot of changes in terms of IFC but also some surveying changes.
Pit calculation
Pit or “volume calculation with automatic slope” is a completely new function that can be found in calculating model to model. We have expanded the volume calculation panel with an extra choice where you set the calculation with automatic slope. Note that the starting model must cover the area of the extended model with its new slopes in order for this to work.
IFC
In this version, we have made some changes to how things are displayed in the graphics. We have introduced support for transparent surfaces (windows) but also added the possibility of displaying IFC models as solids or wire models. Selected items can be displayed with any color now.
When importing data you can now choose to save the objects as a DWG / DXF directly from Geo.
3D-graphics
We have expanded viewing in 3D with a new overview window to make it easier to navigate. You activate the overview through the dialog for 3D graphics.
Leveling
New function to split leveling runs measured by the method BFFB.
